The first ever BAE 146 for Cobham (VH-NJR) to be completed by FCA has arrived in Townsville.

The 26 year old airframe has had a colourful past being a demonstrator aircraft for BAE before entering service for Australian Airlines in 1992, and then transitioning over to Qantas Link in 1994, before finally being transferred to National Jet (Cobham) in 2002.

Once completed by FCA, the aircraft will showcase Cobham's new livery as well as the unique ability to land on unpaved runways thanks to its belly impact coating and additional guards/landing gear shields.
